OUR STORY
Deleel is Arabic for ‘guide’ – one who educates people on the local culture and heritage of the land. MyDeleel was founded by two locals aiming to disrupt the tourism industry by adding their own flair. As licenced tour guides, they provide an authentic Emirati experience by exploring the Emirates through the eyes of the locals.

MyDeleel Experiences
Historical Tour
This involves a tour around old Dubai with a learning of the history of the emirate and the way of life of Emiratis.
Emirati Food Experience
Tourists are taken to an authentic Emirati restaurant or old Emirati house either for breakfast or lunch or dinner and are introduced to the Emirati cuisine.
A Day in a Majlis
Tourists are hosted in our homes to experience the Emirati Majlis (guest room) and the traditions behind it. A variety of Emirati snacks and Arabic coffee is served.

An initiative to create a link between all talents here in UAE (locals or non-locals). We want to give them a chance to present their talent through MyDeleel X platform, by partnering with us in order to provide a session or workshop or an experience to the audience. There is no limit to these sessions – it can be hiking, yoga, cooking, jewelry designing, wall painting, scuba diving and the list goes on!

Tourists will get to learn about the history of Arabic calligraphy in unique venues across the UAE, at the end of which they will receive a portrait with their names written in their favourite calligraphic style.

Ahmad Ali AlSumaiti
CO-FOUNDER, MYDELEEL
Ahmad is a sports enthusiast with a keen interest in snowboarding, and participating (and winning) in various obstacle courses including Desert Warrior, Sand Storm, Spartan and the Government Games. He is also a professional racing driver and was a driver for Dubai 5 at the Dubai Autodrome. Ahmad has experience in improv speaking which has helped him stand out in the tour guide industry. He has done his MBA in Business Administration and Management from the University of Dubai.
Abdallah M. Alobeidly
CO-FOUNDER, MYDELEEL
Abdallah has also completed a course in Arabic Sign Language. He was a part-time teacher with an institute aiming to help learners speak the Emirati dialect and interact with the Emirati community. On a personal note, Abdallah enjoys skiing and likes to stay active. He is also an obstacle runner and spends time speaking at public forums. He has completed Masters in Business, specializing in Innovation and Entrepreneurship, from the University of Wollongong, Dubai.

Ahmad is a licensed tour guide from Dubai Tourism and is a manager at Knowledge and Human Development Authority, Dubai. Ahmad has experience in improv speaking which has helped him stand out in the tour guide industry. He has done his MBA in Business Administration and Management from the University of Dubai.
